This Is Not a Generic Workout Plan

A pre-built training plan is a great place to start. But some hunters need more than a set program.

Maybe you have a specific hunt coming up. Maybe your schedule is inconsistent. Maybe you’re dealing with old injuries, limited equipment, limited time, altitude concerns, or a hunt that is coming faster than you’d like.

Customized Mountain Fitness Coaching is built around your actual life, your actual body, and your actual hunt.

Your plan is built around :

- Your current fitness level

- Your hunt dates

- Your available equipment

- Your work and family schedule

- Your injury history and limitations

- Your terrain, elevation, and pack demands

- Your strength, endurance, mobility, and recovery needs

The Mountain Doesn't Test One Thing

Mountain hunting isn't just cardio. It isn't just leg strength. It isn't just toughness.

The mountain tests your ability to climb, descend, carry weight, recover, stay mobile, repeat hard efforts, and keep making good decisions when the day gets long.

Your training will include these focus areas:

  • Leg strength
  • Aerobic capacity
  • Muscular endurance
  • Pack-out readiness
  • Mobility and durability
  • Recovery
  • Core strength
  • Archery stability when needed
  • Confidence under fatigue

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens after I sign up?

Within 24 hours after checkout, you’ll receive a detailed intake form. Once that is complete, I’ll review your information and build your custom training plan around your current fitness, schedule, equipment, limitations, hunt dates, and goals.

Is there a minimum commitment?

No, this is a month by month option. However, I strongly recommend a 3-month minimum commitment to give us enough time to build, progress, adjust, and prepare with purpose.

Do I need a gym?

No. Your plan can be built around bodyweight training, minimal equipment, a home gym, or full gym access.

How many days per week will I train?

That depends on your schedule, current fitness, goals, and hunt timeline. Most hunters will train 3–5 days per week, but the plan is built around what is realistic for you.

Can you work around injuries or limitations?

In most cases, yes. You’ll share your injury history and limitations in the intake form. This is not medical care or physical therapy, but your training can often be modified around old injuries, pain points, and movement limitations.

Is this only for elk hunters?

No. This can be built for elk, mule deer, bear, sheep, goat, antelope, backpack hunts, rifle hunts, archery hunts, or general Western mountain readiness.

How is this different from the regular training plans?

The regular training plans give you a proven structure to follow on your own. Custom Coaching gives you a plan built and adjusted around your body, schedule, equipment, hunt dates, limitations, and goals.

Can I combine this with your nutrition plans?

Yes. Nutrition can be paired with your training if your goal includes fat loss, better energy, better recovery, or better in-season fueling.
